Leadership Team

Faculty Advisor

The Advisor is who looks over the organization, making recommendations, and pointing the organization in the right direction. The advisor is also responsible to make sure the organization is following all university guidelines and state of Ohio laws.

Executive Director

The Executive Director is responsible for making and calling meetings, facilitating events, and overseeing all organization business/operations. The Executive Director is also responsible for making sure all directors are doing their job correctly and efficiently.

Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in any way possible when the Executive Director is not present. They are also responsible for steering the organization in the right direction.

Director of Communications

The Director of Communications is responsible for communicating with organization members past or present, and reaching out to potential speakers. They are the primary contact for membership affairs and communications

Director of Finance

The Director of Finance is responsible for maintaining organizational funds, making financial reports to present at meetings, make recommendations , transactions when approved by the Executive Board, etc.

Director of Administration

The Director of Administration is responsible for communicating with members, making announcements provided to them for public viewing for meetings, events, etc. They are also responsible for keeping meeting minutes.

How to Join

  1. Complete the Anti-Hazing Training

    By state law and university policy, you must complete the required Anti-Hazing training before joining any student organization.

  2. Join Our Discord Server

    Click the Discord link to join our community. This is where we share real-time updates, meeting times, and any important information.

  3. Request Membership

    Head to KSU Engage and sign in. Search for ISSO and fill out the "Membership Request Form". Application deadline is TBD for Spring 2026. Applications open on January 5th, 2026.

  4. Get Involved

    Participate in events, volunteer for roles, and connect with members. There are many ways to contribute and grow with us.
